About Me
Wife to a Green Beret and mother of four, I’ve walked the long, sacred road of military life—ten moves, two combat deployments, and countless seasons of waiting and becoming. During my husband’s first combat tour in Afghanistan, I gave birth to our daughter while he was home on R&R. He held her for the first time, then returned to war. I rocked her to sleep each night while the base played Taps, holding her tiny body and the heavy silence of anxiety—wondering if the doorbell would ring for me next. I attended funerals for soldiers I didn’t know personally, but grieved as if I did.
For the past eight years, I’ve homeschooled our children, nurturing curiosity, resilience, and rootedness. I hold an MBA from Oregon State University and am currently pursuing a graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy.
I believe we all live inside a great and sacred story—that each person carries a hero’s journey marked by pain, beauty, and transformation. I’m drawn to the healing power of attachment theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy, interpersonal neurobiology, and story work. I have known what it is to be broken—and to cause pain myself—and yet I believe deeply in the redemptive power of relationship and repair.
To sit with others in their suffering and strength is a sacred honor. I long to see healing in the hearts of special operations couples and families, and I hope to be a steady presence in their stories—bearing witness, offering hope, and reminding them they’re not alone.
