Amber Henderson
Professional Counselor
Amber Henderson is Director of Counseling for Aletheia Family Ministries. She is a NC State Certified Pastoral Counselor and specializes in trauma. Her desire is to find a place where faith and science come together and work towards wholistic healing especially for those in faith communities suffering from the effects of trauma. Amber was introduced into the SOF community through her husband, TJ. He served as a communicator at a Special Missions Unit at Ft. Bragg, NC and completed four combat tours in Iraq. Amber experienced first hand the challenges a career ending injury can have on a marriage and soldier. Navigating this tumultuous time early in their marriage has given her insight into the of uniqueness of a transition from the demands of Special Operations duty to civilian life and the impact it has on marital relationships and family dynamics.
