Jillian Rowe
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, BCD
Jillian has over ten years experience of providing therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families within the military and SOF communities. She served in the United States Army as a Behavioral Health Officer, and was embedded with multiple special operations forces units. She also works with chronic health issues related to toxins, stealth infections, other environment-related health issues, hormone imbalances, and how physical health impacts mood and emotional well-being. As a person-centered existential therapist, she strives to create a space where clients can explore their own values, beliefs, and priorities, and to develop a deeper sense of purpose and meaning in their lives. She works with clients to help them confront their trauma and anxiety, to develop a more accepting and compassionate relationship with themselves and their experiences. Recognizing the bidirectional connection between physical health and mental health, she supports clients in addressing how hormone fluctuations or imbalances can contribute to mood swings, irritability, anxiety, depression, and other emotional challenges, often exacerbated by chronic conditions or environmental exposures common in military and veteran populations. Jillian is actively involved in the military and veteran communities, serves as a board member at SOF Network and frequently provides training and consultation to other mental health professionals on best practices for working with military and veteran populations. She can be reached at uncommonccc@gmail.com.
