Ryan Steadman, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in evidence-based care for special operations forces, service members, veterans, and their families. He operates a private practice in Arlington, Virginia, providing psychotherapy and assessment for trauma, moral injury, operational stress, and complex life transitions. Dr. Steadman is also an experienced operational leader with more than two decades of military and intelligence community service.
Dr. Steadman earned his Psy.D. from the University of Denver in an APA-accredited program and completed advanced clinical training in trauma at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV. He has experience in inpatient and outpatient settings for PTSD, primary care mental health, treatment for substance use disorders, and other trauma-informed approaches. He also serves as adjunct faculty at the University of Denver, teaching graduate-level courses in military psychology, operational stress, and trauma treatments.
