About Me
Max is a retired Army Special Operations Aviation Crew Member. He spent seventeen years serving in this capacity, flying primarily on an MH-47G Chinook. He has deployed a total of nine times, including deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Djibouti. Max retired in 2025 and is remaining in Clarksville, Tennessee to pursue his post military aspirations to become a licensed clinical mental health counselor.
During his time in the Army, Max realized his passion for helping others and chose to pursue an internship with Centerstone; a nonprofit health system that provides mental health and addiction treatments for adults, children, families, veterans, and military. It was his interactions with Soldiers in need of counseling that drew him towards this field, and his life experiences are what made him so passionate about it.
Max completed his B.A. in Psychology from American Military University. He is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He has applied to multiple universities including Vanderbilt, Lipscomb, Trevecca, and Austin Peay. Max’s goal is to help people heal from the hidden toll of trauma, stress, and identity loss. He believes that clinical training will compliment his life experiences and enable him to guide others through their challenges.
