Andrew Linares, M.A., LPC

Andrew Linares is a Colorado-based trauma therapist and psychedelic coach who received his Master of Clinical Counseling degree from Naropa University. He began his career as a court-mandated domestic violence therapist, but inadvertently pivoted towards specializing in supporting the veteran and first responder communities. He’s worked extensively as a retreat leader for U.S. Special Operations Force Veterans and their families undergoing Ibogaine, Psilocybin, and 5-MeO-DMT experiences in Mexico. He served as a sub-investigator researching MDMA-assisted therapy for treating PTSD with the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) and has instructed hundreds of professionals from around the world on the clinical use of ketamine and other psychedelic medicines.

His approach to therapy utilizes the present moment to explore the narratives that our minds create, the felt sense experiences of our bodies, and the ever-present connection to spirit (however you define it). While he employs evidence-based techniques throughout his work, he ultimately believes that you are the expert on you, and he has a deep and profound faith in the innate healing intelligence of the individual. He accompanies his clients through the depths of their being while also helping them to navigate the daily realities of our modern world. He believes the therapeutic process to be a sacred endeavor, and he is truly honored to be supporting the SOF community.

In his free time, he enjoys martial arts, yoga, and any activity that strengthens the mind-body-spirit connection.
