How to do I get started?
We have three options of how to take the first step.
-
If you know which provider you'd like to meet with feel free to find their contact information at the bottom of their provider page and make contact to schedule an appointment.
-
To contact SOF Network directly click the "About Us" drop down and select "Contact Us". Please include what state you currently reside in and what insurance you'd like to use if desired. If you don't wish to use insurance and would like to see if you qualify for financial support, reach out with your branch and MOS and we'll get you connected with one of our partners to start their vetting process
-
For individuals and or families who wish to utilize financial support from one of our partners feel free to contact them first to ensure you meet their requirements for support and have them contact us for finding a provider in your area.

We have you covered. We have multiple partners who offer financial support for SOF personnel and family members. We even have partners who cover SOF enablers. If you're unsure if you qualify for support reach out with your branch and MOS and we'll get you connected with one of our partners to start their vetting process.

We have several ways you can search for a licensed provider in your state. First you can review providers by state in our drop down "Clinical Directory". Each provider’s bio contains the state(s) in which they are licensed. Secondly, you can search for a provider by state via our interactive provider map (not all providers are currently on map). Lastly, you can review our providers and their brief bios under our "Clinical Directory" tab under "Provider Directory".

If you're using Tricare to our knowledge there is no limit of services possible. If you're using one of our partners they each have a unique process of support and can answer this during their vetting process. We do work with our partners to ensure therapy is finished before any support is stopped. Further, if needed we collaborate with multiple partners to ensure the client(s) have met their goals and are ready to end therapeutic services.
-
Although SOF Network is a network of licensed clinicians we are not a crisis network. If you or your family member needs immediate attention please contact the national crisis hotline 988.
-
Our providers operate independently in a variety of context. Many providers have physical offices and others are strictly online. Nearly all our providers offer online services. Given the flexible nature of the SOF community the introduction to tele-health has increased regularly and has allowed greater access to our providers. Please review your providers page and or contact information to learn more about their individual practice.
-
Feel free to contact us anytime using the "About Us" drop down and click on "Contact Us". We aim to return every email with 24hours.

Not ready to see a therapist? We have you covered. Our "Advocates" are former members of SOF and are not trained clinicians but have offered to connect with anyone that needs to chat or just someone to listen that gets it. Our Advocates are not crisis personnel and should not be contacted in a crisis. Go to our "About Us" drop down and click on "Advocates" to learn more.
