Beth Ward, LCSW

Beth Ward is a highly experienced licensed clinical social worker with 30 years of clinical practice. She earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from East Carolina University and spent 17 years in private practice in Charlotte, NC. Recently, Beth had the honor of serving as an embedded clinician with a Special Forces battalion, where she provided critical mental health support to battalions, active-duty military, and their families, addressing the complexities of combat-related stress, trauma, high tempo, and family dynamics. She has also contributed to veterans’ well-being by assisting in ketamine clinics and with plant medicine retreats.

Beth’s philosophy centers on building strong provider-client relationships to create a safe, trusting environment. She believes in empowering her clients to view emotional and physical hardships as opportunities for growth rather than obstacles. By helping individuals return to foundational principles, she provides the resources needed to navigate life’s challenges effectively.

As a dedicated learner in health coaching and wellness, Beth integrates evidence-based practices into her work with individuals, couples, and families. Her therapeutic approach addresses grief, trauma, chronic pain, depression, and anxiety with the goal of enhancing her clients’ overall quality of life.

Beth focuses on helping her clients gain awareness and insight into the patterns and issues that impact their daily lives. Through comprehensive assessment, education, and diagnosis, she employs a variety of treatment modalities to support her clients in achieving their fullest potential, fostering resilience, and living their best lives.
