Jesalyn Moore, LCSW

Jesalyn Moore is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and addiction specialist with extensive experience providing mental health support to military personnel, SOF, first responders, and healthcare professionals. Her approach includes a focus on trauma-informed care, resilience-building, and occupational stress management.

With over a decade of experience, Jesalyn has worked closely with active duty military, special warfare units, law enforcement, and frontline healthcare staff. She is foundationally trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)/ Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and specializes in treating co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, PTSD, and operational stress injuries.

Previously, Jesalyn served as the Market CEO for Summit BHC, overseeing addiction treatment centers across southeast Virginia, and worked as a substance use disorder clinician for the Department of Defense (DoD). She has also led critical incident stress management (CISM) responses in collaboration with local public safety agencies.

As the wife of a veteran and former law enforcement officer, Jesalyn offers culturally empathetic and tailored care to the unique challenges of the special operations and first responder communities. During her time with the DoD, Jesalyn had the privilege of receiving clinical mentorship from a retired SWCC member, a relationship that has driven her personal investment in SOF. She is dedicated to reducing stigma and fostering supportive networks to meet the needs of individuals, couples, and their families.
