Juanita J. Hill, LCSW

Juanita Hill is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over a decade of experience providing specialized mental health services to the special operations community and veterans. Licensed in both North Carolina and Virginia, she is the owner and clinical provider at Crossroads Counseling Online LLC, offering telehealth services to clients in both states.

Juanita’s clinical expertise encompasses a wide range of evidence-based treatments for individuals and couples. She is a certified EMDR provider and is currently pursuing advanced certification in the Gottman Method, having completed Level 3 training. Committed to ongoing professional development, Juanita has completed specialized training in various therapeutic modalities, including Internal Family Systems Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Prolonged Exposure Therapy.

Her career highlights include roles as an Embedded Licensed Clinical Social Worker for USASOC in Virginia and the 1st Battalion, 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) in Germany, as well as her work with veterans at risk for suicide at the Durham VA Medical Center. She has provided comprehensive mental health services, facilitated numerous workshops, and conducted vital behavioral and psychological assessments.

Juanita holds a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a concentration in Direct Practice/Mental Health, and a Bachelor of Social Work from North Carolina State University. She is a military spouse and mother of two daughters, currently residing in North Carolina.

Dedicated to supporting veterans, active-duty military personnel, and their families, Juanita leverages her experience as previous embedded military behavioral health provider for special operations units. She specializes in trauma treatment, depression, and couples counseling, and is committed to helping her clients achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being through compassionate, direct, and client-centered care.
